Ephesians 2:10 New International Version (NIV)
10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
We are God’s new creation in Jesus Christ. By faith in Jesus, we have become God’s handiwork. God is forming a masterpiece within us. We are God’s fine art because the Lord is forming us into the image of Jesus Christ by the power of God’s Holy Spirit. The amazing thing is that God prepared in advance for us to do good works for His glory in Jesus Christ, God’s Son. Think about this, meditate on this wonderful truth in Christ. Be encouraged that you are God’s handiwork created in Jesus Christ!
